Omaha Steaks has expanded its online presence through a new partnership with Target Plus, Target’s curated third-party marketplace. The move brings a range of Omaha Steaks products to Target.com and the Target app.
The first wave of items includes USDA Certified Tender steaks, chicken, pork, seafood, sides, and desserts. Target Plus limits participation to selected vendors, so the assortment is smaller and more controlled than a traditional open marketplace.
Company President and CEO Nate Rempe says the collaboration helps Omaha Steaks reach shoppers who already use Target’s digital platforms. Target Circle Card holders also receive a 5% discount on eligible purchases made through Target Plus.
Shoppers can now find Omaha Steaks products on Target’s website under a dedicated brand page.
Omaha Steaks, founded in 1917, operates as a fifth-generation, family-owned company based in Nebraska. Target runs nearly 2,000 stores across the U.S. and continues to grow its online and third-party marketplace offerings.
