Ontario Live Cattle Trade

Today at Ontario Livestock Exchange (OLEX) there are 120 fed cattle, 400 cows, & 250 stockers, on offer.
Fed cows are selling actively at higher prices, with good cows from 104.00-127.00 sales to 144.00.

U.S. Trade (U.S. funds)
The U.S. cash cattle trade was light on Wednesday with trade in the south from $135.00-$136.00 live, with the $136.00 in Kansas, which is steady to last week. In the north trade ranged from $140.00-$144.00 live up $1.00-$2.00 from last week with dressed trade starting at $225.00 but improving to $228.00-$232.00 as the day progressed, up $3.00-$4.00 cwt. This morning a couple of deals in Texas are steady at $135.00 live while the rest of the country is quiet. Business should continue today and possibly tomorrow, with asking prices reported as firm at $137.00-$138.00 live in the south and $232.00 plus dressed in the north.
