U.S. CASH CATTLE TRADE
The U.S. cash cattle trade was light to moderate in the south on Wednesday with prices down $2.00 cwt from last week’s trade from $179.00-$180.00 live, mainly $180.00 cwt. In the north a light trade was noted from $180.00-$181.00 live which is steady to $1.00 below last week’s northern trade but not enough sold to establish a market. Today we should see more trade especially in the north. Asking prices continue firm at $182.00 plus live in the south and $289.00 plus dressed in the north.
