Corteva has unveiled a proprietary, non-GMO hybrid wheat technology, marking a major advancement for one of the world’s most important staple crops. This innovation addresses historical challenges in wheat hybridization, enabling meaningful yield improvements and greater climate resilience.

The hybrid technology is designed to increase yield potential by up to 10% while maintaining the same land and resource usage. In drought conditions, it has demonstrated a yield advantage of approximately 20% over elite wheat varieties. Additionally, Corteva’s approach allows for faster genetic advancements and efficient large-scale seed production.

With plans to launch hybrid Hard Red Winter wheat in North America by 2027, this technology has the potential to transform wheat production, supporting global food security and advancing agricultural sustainability. For more information, visit Corteva.com.
