Nutrient Management Today: November 13, 2019

This workshop will take a hands-on and practical approach to nutrient management, and how to get the most from those nutrients.

Registration is now open for Nutrient Management Today, taking place Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Lethbridge College from 8 am to 4 pm.

Featured presenter is Jeff Schoenau, professor of soil fertility and professional agrologist at the University of Saskatchewan.

Nutrients are some of the most costly inputs for agricultural producers. Topics covered in this workshop will include:

• soil health
• nutrient management and cycling
• managing nutrients in a drought
• manure management legislation
• managing manure to maximize benefits and minimize impacts
