At CES 2025, running from January 7–10 in Las Vegas, John Deere will showcase its latest advancements in autonomous technology, introducing several new machines designed to address labor shortages across agriculture, construction, and commercial landscaping. Building on the autonomy first revealed at CES 2022, Deere’s second-generation autonomy kit will integrate advanced AI, computer vision, and cameras to enable safe and efficient machine operation in complex environments.
Key highlights will include:
- Autonomous 9RX Tractor for large-scale farming, enhancing tillage operations.
- Autonomous 5ML Orchard Tractor for precise air blast spraying, with plans for a battery-electric version.
- 460 P-Tier Autonomous Dump Truck for quarry material transport.
- Autonomous Battery-Electric Commercial Mower, offering efficiency in landscaping tasks.
These machines will be managed through John Deere’s Operations Center Mobile app, which will provide real-time monitoring, remote control, and notifications for job and machine health.
John Deere’s booth (#5016) at CES, located in West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature these innovations alongside discussions on AI, electrification, and renewable technologies. The company will also participate in panels on January 8, including:
- 9 a.m.: “Tech Without Borders: The Benefits of Tech for All Communities” (North Hall, N258).
- 1 p.m.: “AI or Die? Why Farms Must Embrace the AI Revolution to Survive” (West Hall, W218).
- 3 p.m.: “Robot Farm 2050: A Look at Robotics & The Future of Farming” (West Hall, W218).
