Cattle prices in Alberta increased 7.3% in June 2022 compared to the same time period a year earlier, to $163.28 per hundredweight, the second highest provincial price in Canada. Calf prices increased 3.4% year-over-year in June 2022 to $194.48 per hundredweight. Hog prices decreased by 3.2% in June 2022 compared to the same period a year earlier, to $121.78 per hundredweight.
